SPRING 2012 FELLOWSHIPS FORUM
This is a special invitation to our SPRING FELLOWSHIPS FORUM on Wednesday, March 28th, at 5:30p.m.p.m. in Wyatt 109. If you are interested in the Goldwater, Fulbright, Rhodes, Marshall, Madison, Soros, Truman, Boren, & Gilman (for study abroad) and many others, you need to be there. You can apply for the Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship, Goldwater, Udall, Truman, or Boren as a sophomore or junior. There are many other opportunities for juniors and seniors.
There will be paperwork that needs to be completed and these will be available at the FORUM. FREE money available for funding college, overseas travel, research, and graduate school!!
If you are currently studying abroad, please contact me to discuss the application process and deadlines, and confirm your intention to apply for a fellowship or scholarship.
For example, did you know that the Watson Fellowship awards $25,000 and pays your student loans for one year while you are overseas?!!
How will my student loans be repaid?
“The Fellowship Program will supply, as a supplement to the stipend, an amount equal to twelve-month payments of eligible federally guaranteed and/or institutional student loans issued in the fellow's name. The purpose of the loan program is to help ease the financial burden of Watson Fellows during their fellowship year, and to provide encouragement for all students, regardless of student loan debt, to apply for Watson Fellowships.”
Did you know that the Fulbright scholarship will fund a year abroad for you to teach English as a second language (ETA) or conduct research at a university or other institution – up to $33,000 that you do not have to repay!!
Did you know that the Luce scholarship will provide you with a professional placement in any of 13 Asian countries?
Did you know that the Jack Kent Cooke Graduate Scholarship awards $50,000 per year and will fund up to 6 years of study? That’s a whopping $300,000!! The possibilities are endless…
