Pohlad Award Applications for Summer of 2019. Due march 15th!

The Christopher R. Pohlad Fund for Faculty and Student Research was established to provide students the opportunity to travel abroad, further develop relationships with faculty members, and contribute in a meaningful way to their study of politics and government. 

ELIGIBILITY
Applicants for the Pohlad Award are typically rising juniors or seniors, with a declared major or minor in the Politics and Government department.
                               
RECIPIENTS OF THE POHLAD AWARD MUST:
  • use the award for international travel to one or more countries
  • spend at least two weeks in the field
  • pursue an activity or participate in a program related to the study of politics or government
  • consult with International Programs before going abroad
  • complete a video consultation with a member of the Politics and Government department before departing and after returning
