Plagiarism Sucks

And in fact I've just plagiarized that title from a recent essay in Slate that rails against the practice. Is technology making it harder for us to recognize the difference between our work and that of others, when it's so easy to cut and paste? Have we gotten lazier? Has nothing really changed?
