Students have asked at times where they might study Arabic overseas. There are programs in Cairo, and in past we've had a student go to Damascus (clearly not an option now). A couple of other options I and students have found that might be worth considering (and can be much cheaper). I can't vouch for the quality of either but they are worth investigating.
