Congrats to Laura Lasswell, Fulbright Scholar!

Congratulations to Laura Lasswell '12, who was awarded a highly competitive Fulbright to Germany for 2012-13.  This is the department's second Fulbright in the past two years, following Kammi Sheeler '11 who is currently on a Fulbright in Bosnia.  Interested in applying for a Fulbright?  If you are currently a junior or senior, the on-campus deadline for applications will be early next September.  Seniors can also apply next fall, even though they will have graduated--Fulbright requires that have have your degree, not that you be enrolled in school.  So start now.  More information about Fulbrights--where you can go, what host countries want, and a range of other information--can be found here: http://us.fulbrightonline.org/thinking_teaching.html.
