Jess Box, a 2006 PG major, will start a Masters in Public
Policy Program at the Goldman School at UC Berkeley next fall. She will
be spending the next 4 months in Nashville working for the Tennessee Department
of Education as the Deputy Director of Summer Programs. She will be
managing a program that will train 30,000 teachers across the state in the
new Common Core State Standards. After graduating from Puget Sound, Jess
worked for Teach For America, and subsequently became an administrator in that
program.
