I hope this email finds you well. I just wanted to reach out and say hello and let you know that GAO is planning to post an unpaid internship announcement for undergraduate students in January. These internships would be available both in DC or in any of our field offices, including Seattle. Students are welcome to intern during the school year (not sure if UPS lets students do this), or during the summer and can be very flexible about hours and start dates. If any students are interested, I'd suggest that they set up a USAJobs account (https://www.usajobs.gov) and upload a resume, and then keep an eye out on USAJobs or the GAO website (www.gao.gov) for the specific announcement. The announcement that UPS students would be eligible for will be for a 'Student Volunteer' position (our "intern" positions are specifically for graduate students and are paid). I'd also be happy to answer any questions anyone has about GAO. They can reach out to me--
Professor O'Neil has the phone and email contact for any interested student.
