Teach in Georgia--The country, not the state--

From Teach and Learn in Georgia--

Teach and Learn with Georgia is an opportunity to teach English abroad in the country of Georgia. It is a progressive education movement initiated by the President of Georgia and implemented by the Ministry of Education and Science.

TLG aims to improve Georgia’s nationwide English language proficiency in an effort towards further globalization.

Your university students, recent graduates, and seasoned alumni, who are fluent in English, are all invited to apply for TLG. Volunteer contracts are semester-based and expenses, including travel, are covered by the program. There are two incoming groups every month and applications should be submitted at least two weeks prior to the intended date of arrival. T

LG Volunteers are provided constant support from the TLG Staff during their time in Georgia. http://www.tlg.gov.ge/

We especially encourage current students and their advisors to consider the following:
· Obtaining university-granted credit towards experiential education through TLG
· Obtaining practice hours for students earning their degree or certification in teaching English
· Studying abroad at an institution of higher education in Georgia while participating in TLG

Please contact me if you have any questions regarding Teach and Learn with Georgia. Thank you very much for your interest in the program. We appreciate your role in connecting students, recent graduates, and alumni, to unique volunteer abroad programs such as TLG. You help us make a difference!
