Summer Interships in CA

I just received this tip from Melanie Choy '98 about some interesting looking internship opportunities this summer at the Public Policy Institute of California. Check it out:

RICHARD J. RIORDAN 2009 SUMMER INTERN PROGRAM
Application Deadline: March 13, 2009

The Richard J. Riordan Summer Intern Program at PPIC provides an opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students interested in a public policy career to work in a policy research environment. Intern projects are proposed by PPIC researchers and designed around a specific set of tasks and deliverables that can be accomplished within the term of the internship.

Interns are asked to select one of the following projects to work on during the summer of 2009:

• Project 1: California Climate Change Policy and Regional Transportation Planning
• Project 2: California School Finance
• Project 3: PPIC Statewide Survey
• Project 4: The Distribution of Title I Funding in California
• Project 5: The Federal Earned Income Tax Credit in California
