name is Morgan Christiansen and I work at Lutheran Community Services
Northwest, a refugee resettlement agency in Tacoma, WA. I am reaching out to
you because we are currently recruiting for two AmeriCorps volunteers at our
site. We are looking to hire as soon as possible and would appreciate you
passing this information along to any alumni you believe might be interested.
The two positions are as follows:
'Financial
Literacy Specialist ' - This first position is full time and will focus on
providing financial literacy training to newly arrived refugees. Here is the

'Cultural
Orientation Volunteer Organizer' - This position is part-time; candidates must
be former refugees with at least legal permanent residency status. The position
will focus on recruiting and training community volunteers to provide cultural
