Beth Schimke '11, Constituent Services at U.S. House of
Representatives for Congressman Denny Heck will be on campus today to
talk about interning for his office. If you'd like to meet her, she
will be in Professor Sousa's 4 pm class in Wyatt 107. You are welcome
to drop by the class at the start to hear her talk. I would really
encourage you (all) to drop by, especially if you were thinking about
doing something local and/or something in DC. We have strong
connections to this new member of Congress and I think there's lots of
potential for movement upwards in that office.
