Internship Opportunity. Application deadline: Friday, July 3rd at 8 pm

Greetings, Professor:

My name is Kristina Holtrop and I have a virtual internship opportunity that might be of interest to your students. The Rebecca Parson congressional campaign is currently looking for part-time interns and fellows on a rolling basis. This is a unique opportunity to gain meaningful work experience remotely during COVID-19. Interns will get a chance to work with other interns from around the country and the world while learning about the inner workings of a local grassroots congressional campaign. Additionally, we are happy to work with schools to provide academic credit if applicable.
Over the course of the experience, interns and fellows will be exposed to many different aspects of a grassroots political campaign, including voter outreach, communications, policy research, community organizing, volunteer recruitment, data entry, donor research, small dollar fundraising, writing, press, social media, and more. No prior political experience is necessary, and we encourage students of all academic backgrounds to apply.
More info can be found on the application:

Please feel free to distribute this google form to interested students. Applications must be submitted by Friday, July 3rd, at 8:00pm for consideration to start the internship on Sunday the 5th, or if they're really ambitious, they can submit it by tonight at 8:00 to start working this Sunday.
I hope this can be an enriching opportunity for students in Washington's 6th Congressional District!

Sincerely,

Kristina Holtrop
