United Way is Hiring Young Leaders

From: Lydia Landrey
To: Alisa Kessel

Dear Alisa,

Thanks to the advocacy of community influencers like you, United Way of King County has connected hundreds of people to high-impact service opportunities across our community. While advancing key on anti-poverty and family stability programs, United Way AmeriCorps members gain invaluable professional development and work experience, earn a living stipend and $5,775 Education Award, and build a network of like minded leaders. I want to thank you for your partnership in raising the visibility of these high-impact positions - and helping young people launch careers with a year of service.

My team is hiring for two direct service programs this fall, and I would love your help connecting with standout students, great volunteers, or emerging leaders you've recently worked with. We are hiring on a rolling basis, with positions filling quickly in neighborhoods across King County.

Will you please help me forward the following full-time positions to folks in your network? Or, if you'd like someone to come speak with a class or group you support, please let me know right away - as an alumna who launched her career with one of these programs, I'd be happy to come share from my experience!

Grateful for your help,

Lydia Landrey,
AmeriCorps Alumna | nationalservice@uwkc.org
